Meet Your Embodiment Guide

Hi, I’m Kim.

Growing up, I felt distant from my body. The outside world told me to 'be smart' and a 'good student'. But I was drawn to performing arts that made me FEEL - glimpses of being an integrated, wondrous, multidimensional human.

I studied dance and theater in college, then pursued graduate training in dance/movement therapy and counseling. For 15 years, I've been an embodied therapist helping people connect deeply with their minds, bodies, and hearts.

As a body-oriented therapist, I help clients release stored trauma, rage, frustration, stress, and hurt in their bodies. My holistic approach combines somatic practices with traditional therapy to create a unique healing experience.

“Kim has a calm, supportive presence, which I find very grounding. I trust her and have confidence in her perspectives and approaches. Kim is creative and shares her knowledge in an engaging, easy to understand way. She creates an environment that encourages learning, exploration and self-development.

-Joanna Gardy, LMHC

Kim understands the gap between the somatic approaches and traditional verbal therapy. She has tools and a vision to help practitioners on either side to close the gap. I admire her passion!”
